HABESHA VOLUNTEERS

HABESHA is in need of volunteers. Your support will help our small staff to execute the growing logistics of this the organization. Remember your volunteer service helps us to better serve all our youth, parents and the larger community.

Some of the areas needing immediate attention are:

  • Agriculture
  • Creative Writing
  • Curriculum Development
  • Flash Animation
  • Fundraising
  • Media Promotions
  • Organizing Travel Arrangements
  • Streaming Media
  • Video editing
  • Web programming in PHP and MySql or other forms of databasing

We can make maximum impact in our community with collective help. The most crucial areas include fundraising to cover airfare and lodging, plus other necessities like transportation. Moreover, Curriculum development and workshop planning are necessary to address our educational needs not met in our public and private schools. This area will combine the creative input of teachers, professors, database programmers, to build a repository of lesson plans and other educational resources that will be available to all. Key areas of study include but are not limited to agriculture, African History and Culture including language, all Math and Sciences along with business and economic education.
